Information Sent Directly
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result. The site's servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message and is used to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting systems create ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time of visit. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and understand general page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the service, diagnose issues, measure traffic, and improve reference pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual visitor profiles are not built.
Outside Websites
Links may lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their own privacy terms apply to information submitted on those services, including sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who Can Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs to operate the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Data is otherwise disclosed only when valid legal process requires it.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. Because there are no site accounts, no account password or visitor profile is maintained here.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Information Choices
Applicable law may provide rights to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal data held by a website. Because this service keeps very little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing information that is found when appropriate. Use the Contact page to make a request. Official public records held by Pennsylvania state, county, or municipal custodians are outside this service's control; the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, has its own rules for agency records, and a record-removal request belongs with the original custodian.
Policy Changes
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after a posted revision means the revised policy applies.
